Please note the following ATAGI Covid 19 Booster Dose recommendations as at 29 February 2024:

75 years and older

Recommended every 6 months.

65-74 years

Recommended every 12 months. Can consider every 6 months

18-64 years

  • With severe immunocompromise: Recommended every 12 months. Can consider every 6 months.
  • Without severe immunocompromise: Consider every 12 months.

5-17 years

  • With severe immunocompromise: Consider every 12 months.
  • Without severe immunocompromise: Not recommended.

Under 5 years

Not recommended

 

Please note the following ATAGI Covid 19 Primary Dose recommendations as at 29 February 2024:

WITHOUT risk factors

6 months to 5 years     Not eligible

5 years to <18 years    Not eligible

18 years & above         Recommended single primary dose

WITH risk factors

6 months to 5 years     Eligible for 2 primary doses and eligible for a 3rd dose based  on individual risk-benefit assessment

5 years to <18 years    Eligible for a single primary dose based on individual risk-benefit assessment

18 years & above         Recommended single primary dose

WITH SEVERE IMMUNOCOMPROMISE

6 months to 5 years     Recommended 2 primary doses & eligible for a 3rd dose based on individual risk-benefit assessment

5 years to <18 years    Recommended 2 primary doses & eligible for a 3rd dose based on individual risk-benefit assessment

Covid19 vaccines and Influenza vaccine

Covid19 vaccines can be administered ON THE SAME DAY AT THE SAME TIME as the influenza vaccine. Influenza vaccine is recommended to prevent influenza and its complications.

Your Appointment

Please bring photo identification and Medicare card to your appointment.

Please note that wearing a mask is required during your vaccination appointment.

Demand can be high for vaccination appointments. To help minimise vaccine wastage, we kindly request that you book the next available appointment on your preferred day. We would appreciate your consideration of others if you could please cancel your appointment online or ring us on 9497 4391 should you no longer need your appointment. 

Do not come to your vaccination appointment:

- if you are feeling unwell with fever, cough, runny nose or other symptoms that could be from COVID-19
- if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or have tested positive for COVID-19
- if you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19, or
- if you are in quarantine

Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment. 
Note that there is a mandatory requirement to stay in the pharmacy for 15-30 minutes after your vaccination.
